The GLUCOTYPES project will be represented at the 23rd edition of the International Congress of Nutrition (IUNS-ICN 2025) taking place in Paris, France, from 24 to 29 August 2025.
Prof. Ellen Blaak (Maastricht University, NL) will present the GLUCOTYPES project as part of a high-level scientific session on Precision Nutrition: Optimizing Prevention Strategies for Obesity and Chronic Disease. Her talk, titled “Diabetes prevention in the era of precision nutrition”, will showcase how the GLUCOTYPES project leverages wearable technology, molecular biology, and machine learning to explore the relationship between diet, the gut microbiome, and glucose homeostasis across different glucotypes.
